About Me
Alannah Murchison is a video editor and motion graphics artist based in Toronto. She has a talent for rhythm, and an extremely strong background in visual and layout design.​
Alannah's professional experience includes episodic television, short films, motion graphics, graphic design, and commercial campaign video shoots. Recently, she worked as the Graphics Editor on FOX's Crime Scene Kitchen (Insight TV Productions). Previously, she worked as a VFX Editor on shows such as Builder Brothers: Dream Factory and Jane (Sinking Ship Entertainment). Prior to that, she worked as an Assistant Editor on Season 1 of Game Savers (Banger Films/CBC), and as an Assistant Editor on Season 2 of Dark Side of the 90s (Insight TV Productions/VICE).
In her most recent project, Alannah was the associate editor on Solomea: Uncovering a Family Legacy, a feature-length documentary about a turn-of-the-century Ukrainian opera singer who helped popularize the opera Madama Butterfly. Her next project includes editing and colouring Creep Night, a short horror film set in the 1980s.
